VB 099. INDOCHINA EXPLORING ( 18 DAYS/ 17 NIGHTS)  From  

Day 1:   Arrival Hanoi -  Good morning Vietnam

 You are met and transferred to your hotel in town by the Guide from Viet Bird Travel  .Dinner at your own . Overnight in Hanoi 

Day 2:   Hanoi - City tour of a 1000 years old Capital (B)

 After Breakfast. Discover  Hanoi history and culture & people and get some more shocks of the culture. This tour draws to: the Ho Chi Minh complex including Mausoleum ,stilt house , Temple of literature, Museum  of Ethnology, Tran Quoc Pagoda and west lake with lunch and dinner at your own then back to the Old Quarter for some more exploration. and Water puppet show  4.00 pm . Night  train at  9.30 to Lao Cai 

 Day 3:   Sapa Discovery  (B.L) 

After breakfast, the guide takes you to the Lao Chai village of the H’mong and Ta Van Village of Dzay  and Giang Ta Chai village of Xa Pho people.  Having Picnic lunch on the way.   Return to  Hotel . ( the guide will explain you more details about daily customs , funeral or wedding ceremorny ) . In the evening, your are free to visit Sapa town and daily Market of about ten ethnic minorities. Especially enjoying Love Market in front of Old Church on Saturday night, Overnight at Sa Pa

 Day 4:   Sapa – Bac Ha Market – Lao Cai – Ha Noi  (B.L)

 After breakfast and saying good bye to Sapa , you are collected by private car and driven nearly three  hours to Bac Ha Market – the most colourful and the biggest market of Ethnic minorities in remote and mountainous area. Coming here, tourists have golden chances to talk and exchange culture , handicrafts … with Flower H’Mong people . After Lunch with traditional food of local people , the guide takes you to Old Castle of King of H’Mong and  Pho village of Flower H’mong people.Then going back to Lao Cai train station , if time permitted, you can enjoy Chinese market and Border gate before catching a night train back to Hanoi .

  Day 5:    Hanoi – Halong ( B, L, D) 

12h15: Check-in registration,  Boarding  Huong Hai Junk. 12h45: Start cruising13h00:Have lunch board13h30: A fantastic cruise in Ha Long bay, visit Dinh Huong island, Ga Choi island, Dog island, Sail island, visit Sung Sot  cave and a swim at Soi Sim beach or TiTov beach. 17h30: Relax and enjoy sunset19h30: Enjoy dinner on board. 21h00: Fishing or relax and spending a night on board. Beautiful kayaking route from Titov beach to Luon Cave (or from Bo Nau cave, to Soi Sim beach to TiTov) for those who book kayaking option( kayaking time after visit the Sung Sot cave). 

Day 6: Hanoi – Halong - Hue ( B, L,) 

7h00: Cake, coffee, tea or milk is served.8h00: Visit Luon cave on small bamboo boat, then cruise to pass so that tourists can have a look Man’s head island, Tortoise island from the Junks.9h00: Arrange luggage and check-out9h30: Set brunch ( breakfast and lunch).Transfer to Noi Bai airport for domestic flight to Phu Bai in  the afternoon with short stop at a ceramic workshop in Dong Trieu. . Upon arriving in Hue . Dinner at your own. Overnight in Hue

Day 7: Hue City Tour ( B,L) 

 Have breakfast. Enjoy an early morning  boat ride on Perfume River to visit the Royal Tomb of Tu Duc King. Start visiting The Imperial Citadel - World Cultural Heritage and Thien Mu Pagoda , Dong ba market .Have lunch at local restaurant & Dinner at your own. Overnight in Hue

Day 8: Hue - Da Nang – Hoi An (B,L)

Transfer to Da Nang by Van  (the views from top of Hai Van Pass are excellent – you’ll be able to see Lang Co beach and the lagoon far below, and Da Nang spread out before you to the south). You’ll have a brief look at the remarkable Hindu statuary in the Cham Museum before leaving for Hoi An. Walk with your tour guide to visit around Hoi An: the old Tan Ky House, Covered Bridge, Phuc Kien Assembly Hall. Lunch at local restaurant &Dinner at your own and Overnight in Hoi An

Day 9:  Hoi An – Da Nang – Nha Trang (B)

Breakfast at hotel .Transfer to Da Nang airport  to depart for Nha Trang. Arrival in Cam Ranh airport. Pick-up and transfer directly to hotel. Full day boat trip to Mun Islet, Tam Islet. Enjoy sea bathing. Afternoon visit to the Oceanographic Institute. Overnight in Nha Trang

Day 10: Nha Trang Bay – Relaxing on the beach (B)

Day 11: Nha Trang – Sai Gon(B)

Breakfast at hotel .Transfer to Cam Ranh Airport   to depart for Sai gon. Arrival in Sai Gon . Visit Ho Chi Minh city: Notre Dame Cathedral is a magnificent neo-Romanesque building in the heart of city. History museum, Opera House (Ho Chi Minh City Municipal theater) is considerd as symbol of City, the Central Post Office, China Town and Thien Hau Pagoda.  Transfer back to the hotel. Overnight in Sai Gon

Day 12: Saigon – Cu Chi – Saigon (B,L)

Breakfast at hotel. Morning excursion to visit the famous Cu Chi Underground Tunnel which have become well-known worldwide as the symbol of Vietnamese bravery during wartime. Lunch at local restaurant. Return to the city for discovering Sai Gon city…Dinner at your own. Overnight in Saigon

 Day 13 : Saigon – Mekong Delta – Saigon (B,L)

Breakfast at hotel. Pick up at hotel. Drive to My Tho (2-hour drive from Ho Chi Minh City) and visit Vinh Trang Pagoda. My Tho is a prosperous town of 170,000 inhabitants in the Mekong Delta. It is famous for its extensive orchards and immense rice fields. Lunch at local restaurant. Enjoy a boat ride on the Mekong River and visit an orchard on an island, with lunch en route followed by a visit to a snake farm . Dinner at your own and Overnight in Saigon

Day 14: Phnom Penh - Arrival (B)

 

Breakfast at hotel ,Free time for relaxing until transfer to the airport for flight to phnom Penh. Value guest arrival Phnom Penh International Airport.  Day 15: Phnom Penh – City Tours ( B,L/ )

Firstly, visit Royal Palace & Silver Pagoda was build by King Norodom in 1866 inside its gleaming yellow walls are most conspicuous feature and impressive colorful Khmer style halls for the Royal Family, then visit silver pagoda, located in the compound of the Royal Palace. Inside it floor is constructed of 5000 silver tiles. In the center of the pagoda there is a magnificent 17th century emerald Buddha status made of baccarat crystal and its walls enclosing are covered with frescoes depicting episodes from the Khmer version of the Ramayana. It’s well worth popping in for browse then. Continue your visiting to Wat Phnom that is a hill in town set on top of a tree covered knoll 27m high. According to legend, the first pagoda on this site was erected in 1373 and actually it was rebuilt in 1434, 1806, 1894 and the most recently in 1922.After lunch visiting Toul Sleng Genocide Museum ( S-21 ) a memorial and a testament to the madness of the Khmer Rouge regime, Toul Sleng Kept extensive records, leaving thousand of Photos of their victims. continue your visiting to Toul Tompong Market ( Russian Market ). It is the best place in town for souvenir shopping having a large range of real and fake antiquities. Items for sale include miniature Buddha, silk silver jewelry, gems, ganja,…Dinner at your own. Overnight in Phnom Penh 

Day 16: Phnom Penh - Siem Reap – Tonle Sap lake  (B,L)

 After have nice breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport for flight to Siem Riep then pick up by local tour guide transfer to have lunch and check in the hotel. Start visiting the Tonle Sap lake by make the excursion by boat to visit the Tonle Sap lake: visit fishing villages to discover the standard of living of the people on the water and mangrove forest.  Then re-take to Phnom Bakheng view sunset.Dinner at your own. Overnight in Siem Riep 

Day 17: Siem Reap – Angkor ( B,L)

In the morning after breakfast at the hotel transfer to visit South Gate of Angkor Thom, the famous Bayon Temple – built by Jayavarman VII at the end of the 12th, in the exact center of the city of Angkor Thom, Baphuon , Phimean Akas, Elephants and Leper King Terraces. Afternoon visit Ta Prohm Temple then to discover Angkor Wat that is visually, architecturally and artistically breathtaking it is a massive three tiered pyramid crowned by five beehive-like tower rising 65 meter from ground level. Have a moat and exterior wall measuring 1300 x 1500 meters surround Angkor Wat. The temple it self is 1km square and consists of their levels surmounted by a central towel. The walls of the temple are covered inside and out with bas-reliefs and carving. Nearly 2000 distinctively rendered Apsara carving adorn the walls. Dinner at your own.
