DAY 1 : ARRIVE VIENTIANE & AROUND CITY (–/ L/ — )

Vientiane is located on the majestic Mekong River, Vientiane (translated as ‘sandalwood city’) dates from the 10th century, but has been the capital of from the early 16th century to the present. Vientiane is a relatively small, laid-back city, with tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture and old Buddhist temples to explore. You are welcomed by a local guide at Wattay international airport. Then transfer to your hotel. in the afternoon enjoy a city tour to Wat Sisaket with its thousands of miniature Buddha statues, Wat Prakeo, which was the original home of the famous Emerald Buddha, which today lives in Bangkok, also visit Wat Simuang and other sites you will see include That Luang monument, the great sacred stupa, and next door, Vientiane’s own Patouxay (Victory Gate), Centrally located on Lane Xang Avenue, this monument was built in the 1960s to commemorate those who died in past wars. The monument was modeled after the Arc de Triumph in Paris, yet retains its Laotian identity with traditional decorative motifs. Climb to the top for a panoramic view of the city. Last visiting of this day is to take a short walk for the reddish sunset on the Mekong riverbank. You can find dinner on your own at any Lao style and international restaurants around the city central. Meal: Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: see below

DAY 2 : VIENTIANE – BUDDHA PARK( B/ L/– )

Breakfast at hotel, morning visit vegetable market, and then begin a drive to visit Xieng Khuane Buddha Park. The one of Vientiane’s stranger attractions built in 1958 and is the site of a large collection of many kinds of the Giant Buddhist and Hindu sculptures. 24 km in suburb drive from centre of town 20mn. Then return to the city. En route, stop to visit Lao-Thai Friendship Bridge and National cultural park on the Mekong riverbank. Lunch is served at local restaurant. Upon arrival, remainder of day is free at leisure or takes a short walk or has some cool drinks at the bank of the Mékong River. DAY 3 : VIENTIANE – NEXT DESTINATION ( B/ –/– )

Check out after breakfast, it would be an option to relax or explore the city on your own arrangement until time for transfer to the airport for your next destination.
