Day 1: Hanoi – Arrival 

Your guide will meet you on arrival at Noi Bai Airport and transfer you to your hotel. The guide will pick you up later to visit the highlights of Hanoi: the Museum of Ethnology (the largest and most beautiful in Hanoi); Tran Quoc Pagoda; Hoan Kiem Lake; Ngoc Son Temple and a walk through the famous “36 streets” of the old city. After dinner at a local restaurant, you will have a golden chance to see Water Puppet performances in the evening. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi – Halong (B)

After breakfast, your guide will take you to the Ho Chi Minh complex, where you will visit Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum, the final resting place of ’s great father or Uncle Ho, Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house, the Ho Chi Minh museum, and the One Pillar Pagoda. From there visit the Temple of Literature- the first college of and the place dedicating to Confucianism. Lunch at a Hanoi restaurant, before a 3 hour drive through the green rice fields of the Red River Delta, to Halong Cit, where we check in to our hotel before dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 3: Halong – Hanoi (B, L)

After breakfast, join your boat for a magical six hour cruise round Halong Bay. Enjoy a seafood lunch while cruising past fishing villages, Stone Dog Island, Incense Burner Islet, and Fighting Cock Islet. From Halong Wharf, your guide will take you to visit a village specializing in the manufacture of ceramics before returning to Hanoi, where you will make you own arrangements for dinner. Day 4: Hanoi – Danang – Hoi An (B)

After breakfast, transfer to Noi Bai airport for our flight to Danang. On arrival at Danang you will be greeted by our guide who will escort you on a tour of the City, including the Cham Museum and Marble Mountain before leaving for Hoi An. Following check in at your hotel in Hoi An, you have some free time to explore this delightful city.

Day 5: Hoi An tour (B)

Today you’ll have a guided visit to the Ancient Town of Hoi An, taking in the Japanese covered bridge, Quan Cong temple and Tan Ky House followed by lunch at a local restaurant. Following the tour there is free time to discover Hoi An. The afternoon is free for you to discover more of Hoi An town. Dinner and overnight stay in Hoi An.

Day 6: Hoi An – Hue (B, L)

After breakfast, transfer to Danang. The views from the top of Hai Van Pass are excellent – you’ll be able to see Lang Co beach, then continue on our way to Hue. Our sightseeing tour in Hue will take in the Imperial Citadel and the Dong Ba market. Lunch & dinner at local restaurants and overnight in Hue.

Day 7: Hue tour (B, L)

Following breakfast, take a boat ride on the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda and Tu Duc Tomb. Lunch at a local restaurant and then take the opportunity to rest and enjoy the surroundings in Hue city. Overnight in Hue.

Day 8: Hue – Ho Chi Minh (B)

Following breakfast, transfer to Phu Bai airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh, and transfer to hotel. A city tour to the centre of Ho Chi Minh City introduces you to Notre Dame Cathedral, the History Museum, Vinh Nghiem Pagoda, the Grand Theatre, and the Center Post Office. Enjoy the bustle of Saigon life. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 9: Ho Chi Minh – Cu Chi Tunnels (B, L)

Today you will visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels – the network of underground tunnels used by the Viet Cong during the American War. Drive back to Saigon for lunch at a local restaurant. Visit Thong Nhat Conference Hall (formerly Independence Palace), the War Museum and Chinatown. Enjoy a Water Puppet Show and dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 10: Ho Chi Minh – My Tho (B,L)

A coach trip to My Tho is followed by a boat trip to the island, where you can visit the famed fruit gardens and enjoy luscious tropical fruits. After lunch at a restaurant, it’s back to Ho Chi Minh City and free time for shopping. Dinner at local restaurant and overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 11: Departure (B)

Free time in the morning for discovering Ho Chi Minh City’s handicraft and lacquer ware workshops before transfer to the airport for departure.
